Here are some of the services and activities;
Chapel services are conducted every Wednesday and Friday 8:00 AM. The chapel services are there to provide a time of devotion, meditation, worship and fellowship among the staff, patients, and guardians.
The messages and spiritual songs in the chapel services are designed to be uplifting, uniting, and building the moral-ethical and spiritual life of the participants.
Partners in Hope provides Christian education to its staff through the office of chaplaincy to encourage staff who are believers to grow in the knowledge of the Scriptures, and to grow in their ministry or service to patients and to other staff.
Trainings that are provided include; Saline Process training (a training that equips Christian health workers to share their faith with others with RESPECT, PERMISSION, and SENSITIVITY), Spiritual Leadership and Preaching Practicum (a training in spiritual maturity, ministry, and skills of preaching/teaching the word of God), and Bible Studies following books in the Bible and specific topics.
Partners in Hope staff have times of meditation, relaxation, and fellowship. Inspiring messages are preached by the speakers at these retreats to impart and motivate staff to adhere to the vision and values of the organization.
The main focus of the prayer retreats is to come together to pray for the organization, for families, and for the nation.
Partners in Hope provides spiritual counseling and pastoral care for free to patients, clients, and families in the areas of stress, depression, spiritual struggles, palliative and hospice care, and marital challenges.
Pastoral care and spiritual counseling are provided to supplement the medical services at the medical center to fulfill a holistic approach in the provision of health services.
A group of dedicated staff from the chaplaincy ministry conducts prayer ward rounds to provide prayers, spiritual support, and to share spiritual encouragement with patients and guardians in the wards.
The ward ministry is a source of hope and motivation to many patients and guardians. Many lives are transformed through the sharing of the gospel during the Ward Visitation prayers (See stories and testimonials in NEWS and EVENTS)
Partners in Hope has a free clinic called MOYO that provides free HIV/AIDS services to those who are HIV positive. Sometimes the patients who come to the free clinic need tests and medication that are not covered under the free HIV/AIDS services, such as CT scans, and other services. Many of these patients are coming from low-income backgrounds, they can not afford to pay for these services, and may not easily access these services in public hospital.
Partners in Hope, through its pastoral care department, has a charitable ministry called HAND OF HOPE that was established to raise funds through well-wishers to support the neediest patients.
If you want to donate towards the support of the neediest patients see DONATE for details.
