The organization has systems for providing low-cost care to the poor leveraging on its great potential to tap into the vast resources of the growing middle- and upper-class Malawians, and expatriates.
The Hand of Hope Charitable Ministry was established to assist patients who come to the public clinic at Partners in Hope Medical Center, which offers free medical care for those who are HIV Positive. There are tests and treatments that are not covered under the free HIV services that the patients have to access at other government hospitals. But public hospitals may not have these services readily available and these services are expensive in private hospitals.
Partners in Hope has implemented 10+ of projects in areas of HIV, TB, STIs, Nutrition, Family Planning and
Psycho-social counseling. Our programs arms have implemented projects for USAID, PEPFAR, World Vision, Bill
and Melinda gates foundation, CHAI, Hilton etc. We are trusted with large grants projects with as high as $xxxxx.
Under public health programs Partners in Hope currently operates in 9 districts in Malawi namely; Chitipa, Karonga,
Nkhotakota, Kasungu, Dowa, Lilongwe, Mulanje, Chikwawa and Nsanje. The districts are subdivided into two which are Maintained
districts which are districts with no expansion of the cohorts of clients under care and Sustained districts are those districts
that there are increase of clients on care. The sustained districts are Mulanje, Chikwawa and Lilongwe while the rest are maintained
districts.
